Fortnum & Mason are looking for an exceptional Retail Supervisor to join the team. Reporting to both the Floor & Retail Manager, we are looking for an inspirational and proactive leader who will offer guidance and share responsibility for the floor’s day-to-day operations. You will assist in motivating and coaching the team to ensure they all deliver world-class customer service consistently. Strong management and people skills are key to this role, as you will need to confidently guide a diverse team of sales staff.

This is a fixed-term position running until 12 July 2027, based on a 40-hour week. Full flexibility across shifts and days is required, and the role is located at our Canary Wharf store.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Motivate and lead a diverse team to consistently exceed customer expectations.

  • Drive commercial results through effective floor management and proactive selling.

  • Take ownership of sales targets and contribute to the store’s overall success.

  • Lead and support your team on the shop floor, building a culture of exceptional retail standards, product knowledge, and customer engagement.

  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to deliver smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment in a similar role

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service

  • A friendly warm approach with great people skills

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, early shifts and late finishes
