Fortnum & Mason’s Food Hall, located on the Lower Ground Floor of our Piccadilly Flagship store, is renowned for its selection of the most unique and finest products sourced from independent suppliers. Our Coffee counters boast a mouth-watering range of coffee and hot drinks, sided by our Deli counters with freshly made pasta and pies, to delicious sandwiches and our famous Scotch egg, there’s bound to be a temptation for everyone. 

We are currently looking for an experienced Barista passionate about coffee and creating the perfect hot drink!

Key Accountabilities:

*       Work alongside the team to ensure the smooth running of the coffee service

*       Ongoing and up to date knowledge of coffees and the specialist beverages that the counter offers

*       Continuous improvement and development of knowledge of coffees and teas

*       Commit to deliver exceptional customer service at all times

*       Ensure that all counter areas are kept clean, tidy, well stocked and always ready for service

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:

*       Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand and high volume service

*       Continuous improvement and development of knowledge of hot drinks selections

*       Create and deliver an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set

*       Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

*       Solid interpersonal and communication skills

*       Ability to think quickly and rationally to ever-changing situations

*       Consistently lead by example
