Assistant Store Manager - St Pancras

Excitingly, we are looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our St Pancras store. Our Assistant Manager will continue the tradition of delivering a world class experience to the customers of Fortnum & Mason. Our Assistant Manager will report both to the Deputy Store Manager and Store Manager, supporting and assisting the smooth retail operation of this site. As an individual, you will facilitate the delivery of the high service standard expected of a luxury retailer, in order to exceed the Fortnum & Mason customer experience. 

Even with the hustle and bustle of St Pancras, our store is regarded as an “oasis of peace”. It is a hidden gem where travellers can pop in for a quick afternoon tea or get their last minute gifts before their train journey.

 

Working 5 days per week (including weekends, covering shifts between 6am to 11pm), we require a leader with strong managerial skills who possesses energy, drive and a determination to succeed, and who can clearly motivate others. You will create a well-managed, clean, safe working environment, maintaining a due diligence defence at all times.

 

In addition, we look for: 

  • A proven background at supervisory level in retail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Satisfactory level of computer skills to use our point of sales system

  • Strong customer service focus when dealing with internal and external customers

  • Energy to work in a fast – paced working environment

  • A genuine and infectious passion for luxury retail.
