Warehouse Supervisor - Wine Cellar
Job description
Fortnum & Mason are on the lookout for a Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible in delivering a seamless replenishment service in our Wines department to the business. You will be an experienced warehouse individual whilst being a key contact for internal customers and on some occasion’s external ones due to being predominantly floor located. Experience of manual handling is essential, as you will spend time in all areas of the business and stock rooms, collecting, moving, stacking and date rotating products. In addition to manual duties you will have administrational tasks to complete to aid your manager and team, these will include but not be exclusive of; staff rotas, due diligence checking, stock counting, replenishment system, admin work and meetings with merchandisers & buyers on a weekly basis through online/face to face floor walks.
This role will require full flexibility on 40 hours a week, based in Piccadilly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist your manager to drive sustained improvement through people
- Communicate clearly and positively to engage all colleagues, ensuring they understand their accountability
- Ability to positively influence your team and demonstrate credibility within the role
- Highlight inaccuracies and discrepancies within area and collaborate to resolve
- Identify training requirements of direct line reports and flag additional support needed to the manager
- Communicate relevant information via appropriate means within a timely manner
- Responsible for organising and maintaining the storage of ambient product with our areas
- Enforcing health, safety and security procedures
