Job Overview
As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Fortnum & Mason's digital presence. Managing critical marketing channels such as Paid Social, Affiliates, and Connected TV, you'll ensure campaigns not only elevate brand awareness but also achieve measurable growth in online traffic. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape and deliver our digital strategy, ensuring Fortnum’s remains a leader in its field.
Responsibilities
Paid Social Management: In-house management of Paid Social campaigns; budget allocation, performance analysis, and ongoing optimisation.
Affiliate Network Management: Manage and optimise the Affiliate network, leveraging commissions and tenancy agreements to drive growth.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support the professional development of a direct report, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Creative Oversight: Partner with the Marketing team to ensure campaign creatives align with objectives, launching on time and achieving targets.
Channel Optimisation: Conduct daily performance analysis and implement continuous improvements to meet key KPIs.
Agency Collaboration: Work with agencies to ensure timely delivery of reports and optimisations.
Strategic Support: Assist the Head of Digital Marketing in shaping and executing the wider digital strategy.
PPC Campaign Support: Collaborate on managing PPC campaigns across Search, Shopping, and PMAX.
Cross-Team Coordination: Liaise with Marketing, Buying, and Trading teams to align campaigns with product launches and broader business initiatives.
Feed Management: Oversee feed management to support multi-channel campaigns.
Testing & Growth: Develop testing matrices to innovate and expand channel performance.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor global competitor activity to identify trends and opportunities.
Performance Reporting*: Deliver insightful performance updates to the wider team on a weekly and monthly basis.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in digital/performance marketing with a proven track record of managing channels like Paid Social, Affiliates, and Connected TV.
- Expertise in Meta ad management is essential.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong background in feed management and data-driven optimisation.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets.
- Proven ability to deliver results against forecasts.
- A creative, commercial mindset with a passion for innovation.
- Familiarity with different attribution models and a technical aptitude for troubleshooting.
- A genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing and the luxury food and drink industry.
