To lead, develop and implement the buying and product development strategy for the Home category in line with the overarching business strategy. Ensure a highly curated, premium assortment that reflects the brand’s heritage, quality standards, and customer expectations. The role is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management — from concept and sourcing through to launch and in-season trading — driving commercial performance, innovation, and brand differentiation.

* Lead seasonal range planning, open-to-buy management, and margin delivery.
* Ownership of the buying calendar
* Identify white-space opportunities, emerging trends, and category extensions that complement the luxury food offer.
Product Development
* Lead new product development (NPD), including own-label, exclusive, and collaborative ranges.
* Lead the development of the product offer for your categories, ensuring that clear strategies and commercial plans are developed, implemented, and executed to drive strong sales growth, profit and excellent quality standards, as well as supporting our sustainability agenda
* Translate brand DNA into compelling product concepts with clear design, material, quality, and packaging direction.
* Manage product briefs, critical paths, costings, and timelines from concept to launch.
* Prepare and present ROI proposals for sign off with merchandising.
* Ensure all products meet luxury quality standards, sustainability objectives, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor intelligence and benchmark appropriately
Supplier & Partner Management
* Source and develop relationships with best-in-class global artisans, manufacturers, and premium suppliers to underpin our excellence in product ambitions
* Negotiate commercial terms, MOQs, lead times, exclusivity, and margin structures.
* Oversee ethical sourcing, quality assurance, and compliance across the supply base.
Commercial Performance & Trading
* Own category trading performance, driving sales, margin, and stock efficiency.
* Monitor in-season performance, supporting action on rebuys, markdowns, and exits.
* Collaborate with Merchandising and Supply Chain to optimise availability and stock flow.
Brand, Customer & Collaboration
* Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Retail teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and exceptional product launches.
* Lead product input into campaigns, seasonal themes, and visual merchandising direction.
* Develop high-profile collaborations and limited-edition collections that elevate brand desirability.
* Managing the delivery of promotional calendars
* Deliver internal product training calendar
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing buying and product development team.
* Work cross-functionally with Food Buying, Merchandising, Design, Quality, Operations, and Finance.
* Act as a senior commercial voice for Home within the wider business.
* Support Buyers / Assistant Buyers in their management of the critical paths and plans to deliver on time deliveries in accordance with the buying calendar and ensure accuracy of information
