Project Manager (Property)
Job description
Role Purpose:
Own, lead and deliver UK + International store development, property and facilitates projects. You will be responsible for managing and controlling the project delivery on behalf of the property team.
Key Accountabilities:
Own, lead and define Project metrics to deliver the Executives master plan and project and programme requirements
Ensure clarity of scope and requirements from all key stakeholders (from design to launch), on all Property and Facilities projects.
Manage stakeholder expectations, by highlighting risks and requirements against defined plans.
Own key relationships with 3rd party project contractors in specified areas.
Present weekly masterplan updates as required.
Undertake day to day site management when and where required, i.e. new site openings, with the aim to deliver real time solutions to plan problems.
Driving change, constantly seeking ways to optimise the best solutions to deliver project plans.
Be responsible for delivering projects that meet the overall budget margin for projects and ensure planned cost targets are met or potential risks highlighted, so we remain with budget where possible.
Where requested, ensure you deliver savings on business projects, through better sourcing and negotiations with suppliers.
Ensure new sites are open on time and within budget.
Manage property related projects and ensure that there is a smooth, seamless project management process and delivery plan in place.
You are required to carry out any ad hoc projects as defined by the Head of Property
Role Specific Criteria:
Strong knowledge of leasing & property project management principles
Understanding of and ability to read Architects drawings
You will be a good in depth analyser with a solid results orientated attitude and an ability to delivery results within time and budget
You will be capable of managing project teams, setting clear targets and providing practical solutions and direction.
You will have a collaborative, considered and adaptable working style, with an ability to stakeholder manage and communicate at all levels * Tenacious, with the ability to problem solve within a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational & project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results
Strong knowledge of logistics management for efficient service delivery
Strong resilience and an ability to adapt to changing priorities
Has strong commercial acumen in every decision
Confident communicator at all levels, with an ability to persuade and influence
Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of the brand and brand values
