Located in the heart of Piccadilly in our beautiful flagship store. This central London location, offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.
Head Waiter/Waitress - Field
At our newest restaurant, we are on a mission to discover better ways of bringing food to the table. We're shortening the journey from farm to Fortnum's, by working with incredible growers and producers whose regenerative practices don't just sustain the planet, but repair and improve it. We're championing delicious seasonal ingredients both for the way they taste and the way they're grown, because the future of food is taking root now, and we're excited to play our part.
We are currently looking for passionate Head Waiters/Waitresses to work in our fabulous Field Resturant and helping our customers have a truly enjoyable experience.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with the Restaurant management team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant
Help drive, motivate and encourage the teams to look for areas where we can deliver more
Support and develop the Waiters and Commis waiters
Create and deliver an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set
Act as a role model at all times with customer experience at the top of the agenda
Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus and restaurant service
Ensure all the teams are aware of any menu changes and can accurately inform the customers
Motivate and inspire team to hit targets
Consistently lead by example
Help to ensure that all staff carry out their duties to the best of their abilities at all times, liaising with other supervisors where appropriate
We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus and restaurant service
Think widely while focusing in on important detail generating winning ideas
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Coach, counsel and train team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
