Concierge Events Partnership Executive

Our Head Office department is located in the heart of Piccadilly and occupies the 5th & 6th floor of our beautiful flagship store. This central London location, offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.

Role Purpose:

The Events Partnership Executive will support the development and delivery of a varied and dynamic calendar of consecutive events, ranging in scale and complexity. Through excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, the role holder will build and maintain strong working relationships with partners, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders, helping to drive sales, brand engagement and long-term partnerships. A proactive and solutions-focused approach is essential, with the ability to anticipate challenges and resolve issues before they arise in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. 

This role requires close collaboration across multiple teams, including retail, marketing, operations, logistics and finance, as well as regular liaison with our partners.  

The Events Partnership Executive will be responsible for supporting event administration, managing timelines, coordinating operational requirements and ensuring all parties are aligned in advance of delivery. On event days, they will provide hands-on operational support, be the ‘Face of Fortnum’s’ and serve our customers whilst ensuring events run smoothly and any issues are handled efficiently and professionally. 

With an exciting and busy calendar of overlapping events, the role demands strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, often to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, adaptable and comfortable balancing both administrative and operational responsibilities, while maintaining a consistently high standard of work. Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive operational support across the full event lifecycle, from initial partnership agreements and planning through to on-site delivery and post-event wash-up.

  • A highly functional operationally, proactively identifying potential risks or issues before they arise and ensuring robust contingency plans, logistics, and resources are in place to resolve challenges swiftly and effectively.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational protocols, processes, and ways of working; constructively challenge thinking, decisions, and established processes to drive efficiency, quality, and best practice

  •  Serve as the primary on-site representative and “Face of Fortnum’s” at events, confidently engaging with customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders while upholding brand values, service standards, and reputation at all times. 

  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational, time management, and project management capabilities, ensuring multiple workstreams are prioritised and delivered accurately, on time, and to a consistently high standard. 

  • Take full end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, working autonomously while remaining accountable for planning, execution, delivery, and evaluation of outcomes.

  • Coordinate operational aspects of event delivery, collaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution, clear communication, and alignment to agreed objectives.

  • Ensure all operations are executed with sustainability at the forefront of our thinking

  • Management of day-to-day administrative duties

  • Maintain and update all relevant operational documentation, including sales reports, purchase orders, invoicing, critical paths, run sheets, and other key planning and delivery documents.

  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries and correspondence related to events, providing timely, professional, and brand-appropriate responses and resolutions

  •  Build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple internal stakeholder departments to ensure events are delivered to an exceptional standard. This includes close collaboration with, but is not limited to, Marketing, Merchandising, Buying, Packaging, Sustainability, Finance, Visual Merchandising, Chefs, Hospitality, and Logistics team

  • Work collaboratively with external partners and suppliers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring deliverables, timelines, and standards are met or exceeded.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, aligning expectations, sharing updates, and ensuring all parties are informed, engaged, and working towards shared goals.

Role Specific Criteria:

Essential:

  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

  •  Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high standards across all aspects of wor

  • Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering events from concept through to execution

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong desire to succeed both individually and as part of a team

  • A genuine passion for the brand, with the ability to act as a brand ambassador at all times

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable customer-facing experience

  • Commercially aware and sales-focused

  • High level of computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

  • Strong understanding of the premium/luxury marketplace and the expectations of high-value customers

  • Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle

  • Flexibility to travel as required 

Desirable

  •  Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), particularly within a sales or customer relationship management environment
