Job description

Chef Menu  Administrator:

 

This role is to support the back of house hospitality team with recipe input, yield checking & wastage checks across all restaurants. They will support both the procurement team and the executive chef to ensure recipe accuracy in order to have accurate GP’s and so that the correct stocks are depleting from recipes.  

Key Role Responsibilities:  

  • Input all restaurant recipes on Star Chef 

  • Liaise with food tech team to update allergens for menu change 

  • Work with chefs to yield and waste check recipes 

  • Assist in managing the yearly menu calendar for all sites and events  

  • Support the timeline for all Seasonal Menu Changes quarterly  

  • Support Chef Menu Coordinator to ensure menus launch on time 

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel 

  • Good financial acumen  

  • Ability to train and coach others 

  • Works well in collaboration with different teams across the business 

  • Ability to adapt and be agile in fast paced environment 

  • Excellent level of attention to detail 

  • Prior knowledge/ experience with till systems and Star Chef/ FnB is preferable 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • An ability to challenge, build credibility with a wide range of audiences and work with integrity/ confidentiality at all times
