Assistant Store Manager - The Royal Exchange

The Fortnum & Mason store located inside the stunning Royal Exchange building, in the heart of Bank, brings a range of our favourite Fortnum’s products right to the doorstep of our customers in the City.

 

Excitingly, we are looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our Royal Exchange store. Our Assistant Manager will continue the tradition of delivering a world class experience to the customers of Fortnum & Mason.

Our Assistant Manager will report both to the Deputy Store Manager and Store Manager, supporting and assisting the smooth retail operation of this site. As an individual, you will facilitate the delivery of the high service standard expected of a luxury retailer, in order to exceed the Fortnum & Mason customer experience.

 

Working 5 days per week on a rotating rota, we require a leader with strong managerial skills who possesses energy, drive and a determination to succeed, and who can clearly motivate others. You will create a well-managed, clean, safe working environment, maintaining a due diligence defence at all times.

In addition, we look for: 

  • A proven background at supervisory level in retail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Satisfactory level of computer skills to use our point of sales system

  • Strong customer service focus when dealing with internal and external customers 

  • Energy to work in a fast – paced working environment

  • A genuine and infectious passion for luxury retail.
