Account Manager, Business Development

Fortnum & Mason - Hong Kong Head Office

Fortnum & Mason, the iconic British brand, is seeking a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our office in Hong Kong. This multifaceted role combines account management with proactive sales, offering an exceptional tailor-made service to our high net worth and high profile private and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

Operational:

  • Manage key accounts, includiing corporate, VIP, and private customers, building relationships to increase client spend.

  • Maintain client relations by sharing new product information and upcoming events.

  • Meet with clients, respond to new queries, and create proposals for client gifts and events.

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through networking, exhibitions, emails, and calls.

  • Place and manage orders, ensuring smooth delivery, and processing returns and replacements.

  • Provide the highest level of service to customers and generate critical department reports.

  • Support the Business Development Manager in training the team and setting up new starters.

  • Host events both in-store, in our restaurant, and offsite.

People & Collaboration:

  • Liaise with retail, buying, merchandising, and logistics teams to accommodate orders, from stock management to delivery.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management and corporate sales

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A passion for the Fortnum & Mason brand and its products.
