Dispatch Administrator- Warehouse Services

Job description

Fortnum & Mason are looking for a Dispatch Administrator who will be responsible for facilitating the daily administration that aids the dispatch team pick, pack and send customer orders, internal orders and return purchase orders. You will generate picking lists, communicate out of stock items (OOS) to internal colleagues, liaise with our 3PL client service team to flip orders with OOS items that cannot be fulfilled & liaise with B&M teams around product issues. Ultimately, a successful Dispatch Administrator should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the administration of the Piccadilly dispatch function as well as aiding our DC to resolve OOS issues, ensuring that daily duties are performed to meet delivery windows on every occasion.

Responsibilities:

  • Order maintenance – these tasks include, but are not limited to monitoring orders and notice where incorrect items are ordered, incorrect delivery dates, amending addresses, changing MOD, updating previously delivered orders, adding stock
  • Generate picklists for Piccadilly dispatch, ensuring these are printed in a timely manner
  • Participate in daily conference calls, discussing order issues and resolutions for our 3PL warehouse using their reporting platform
  • Flip orders between warehouses, being aware of our 3PL system limitations
  • Update excel tracker & email to communicate out of stocks/subs to customer relations team
  • Be aware of inconsistencies around product set-up & communicate to the Buying team
  • Support the warehouse team with item & system queries
  • Drive the correct business process to ensure consistency & accuracy from a warehouse perspective
  • Monitor/action/reply to emails (shared and own)
  • Produce daily and weekly report
  • Undertake such duties considered essential for the effective operation of the warehouse
